Eye Candy – Waterfront Museum of Liverpool

Amidst the current controversy surrounding the construction of the Waterfront Museum of Liverpool between it’s ingenious Danish Designers, Studio 3XN and Manchester-based architects, AEW we can’t help but step back and appreciate it’s original design in awe. This is because according to the Studio 3XN, several aspects of its original design, like it’s signature X-wing design have been “meddled” with by AEW.

Space Saving Rotor House by Hanse Colani

We came across this via MoCo Loco. It is a compact space saving four-room house by German industrial designer Luigi Colani. It contains a six square metre cylinder that comprises a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The cylinder rotates and ‘delivers’ the room of choice to you in the main living area by a remote control. Outside of the cylinder, there is a separate space for a toilet and small hallway.
