ODRA Tower Construction Wroclaw, Poland

Construction has started on the Odra Tower in Wroclaw, Poland. The building is scheduled for completion 2009.

Due to translation issues, we are not certain of the exact final specifications. There will be between 31 and 35 floors when complete, and will either be white, grey or black, depending. As we understand it, this is still in some doubt. Other specs include:

One interesting translation hiccup – when using online web based translation pages, the word ODRA is translated as “Measles,” in English.

    Odra is not only the name of illness (measles), but also the name of the river in Poland - in this case the name comes from the river :)
