Beijing Central Business District or the Beijing CBD is Beijing’s core business borough spread over a total area of 4 square kilometres in the eastern urban area of Beijing city.
Planned since 1993 and scheduled to be completed this year (before the Olympics), it is currently residing 3000 businesses constituting, 500 multinationals, 570 foreign representative branch offices, 150 international financial corporations & 200 intermediary service companies.
Beijing CBD comprises of over 10 million square metres of constructed real estate; 50% of which is office space, 25% apartments and the remainder 25% commercial and service oriented.

China World Trade Center Tower 3
Set to be the most prestigious project in Beijing and located in the heard of Beijing CBD, China World Trade Center Tower 3 would be Beijing’s tallest building towering at 330m. It will be a mixed use 74 Storey super tall expected to be completed in 2009.
Beijing Yintai Centre
This elegant three tower development comprises of 186 metre, 45-storey twin office towers and a 250 metre 62-story hotel/luxury apartment tower containing 237 guest rooms, 180 luxury apartments & 48 serviced apartments. It was completed in 2007. View photos of the finished towers here.
Beijing TV Centre

Fortune Plaza
Beijing Fortune Plaza, is a multiuse development consisting of five super-high rise towers with the tallest soaring at 260 meters. Its total construction area is 720,000 square meters.
CCTV Headquarters
Currently under construction, CCTV Headquarters is a skyscraper that is to be the new headquarters of China Central Television. Construction which started in 2004. is expected to be completed in time for the 2008 Summer Olympics.
It would stand at 234 metre over 54 floors, covering 4,100,000 square feet of floor space. It is an absolutely stunning design.
Jing Guang Centre
Jing Guang Centre was Beijing highest tower from the 1990s through till 2003. It is a 208 metre tower spanning over 53 floors with a gross area of 145,407 metres.
